BUSHWALK CANDLES

"What does Australia smell like to you?"

At Bushwalk Candles I make beeswax candles that embrace the essence of the

Australian bush.

My connection to the bush is inherited from a long history of proud Australian storytellers

and I use these memories to inspire my range of authentic Australian scented beeswax candles.

Bushwalk Candles are handmade using natural beeswax sourced from local bee keepers

in South East Queensland. I use first melt beeswax that still holds some of the delicious golden

honey within its cells. This pure beeswax blends perfectly with the bush scents and oils to

create my amazing bush scented beeswax candles.

When you browse through my shop keep an eye out for all of the beautiful Australian handmade

timber products that feature in my Montville Woods Gallery shop too.

You get two shops in one!

I hope that you find a scent that reflects what Australia smells like to you!

Cheers, Arabella

BEESWAX CANDLE SAFETY TIPS

*Trim the wick to approx 1cm before lighting your candle, every time. This will create a calm, even flame and will minimise any smoke.

*Keep the wick central and don’t allow the flame to touch the sides of the glass jar.

*Remove all wick trimmings from the candle container before re-lighting.

*Burn to the edge of your candle every time, this will prevent tunnelling where the wax pool in the middle gets too deep.

*Beeswax has a higher melting point than other candles waxes, it gets very hot.

*Place candle containers on a stable, fire and heat resistant surface or coaster.

*Keep candles away from overhead fans, draughts and curtains.

*Never leave a burning candle unattended, especially around pets and children.

Please remember to read the warning labels on all of my beeswax candles and packaging, and please enjoy your beeswax candles responsibly. X

BEESWAX MELT SAFETY TIPS

*Beeswax melts can be used in oil burners with natural beeswax tea lights or soy tea lights.

*If you use an electric burner, you may need to break up the beeswax melt into smaller pieces if the burner does not get hot enough.

Please remember to read the warning labels on all of my beeswax melts and packaging, and please enjoy your beeswax melts responsibly. X
