This beautiful "Burrowed Beauty" wood carving depicting a pair of pardalotes in a tree hollow has been carved out of jacaranda timber and detailed using pyrography. This piece was awarded a Tiny Treasures Honorary Mention at the 2026 Sunshine Coast Wootha Prize.
 
Kellie May Mannix is an accomplished artist who uses pyrography to burn beautiful original works of art onto timber from her hand drawn illustrations. She is currently a finalist in the Pomona Railway Station Gallery local emerging art prize and sells her work at the well-known weekly Eumundi markets. 
 
All exhibition pieces purchased will be posted out on Monday 17th August.
