Montville Woods Gallery held its excellent Long Weekender event in 2025 where we

showcased local woodworkers with carving workshops, timber sales, woodworking

demonstrations, meet the makers and local artisan made products.

In 2026 we are teaming up with Ben Adams - Makers Design Fair and Barung Landcare - Wootha Prize

for a fantastic weekend of all things wood featuring competitions, exhibitions, galleries, workshops

and timber sales.

With a focus on Craft, Community, Heritage and Sustainability make sure that you book

The Sunshine Coast Wootha Prize promotes the whole "timber" story - from seed collection through planting forests, harvesting to the end product, the furniture and a range of other incredible crafts and artworks we value and need.
