This beautiful "Wizard's Spoon" has been carved by Gary Field from rib fruited mallee, ebony, huon pine and dugong bone, and finished with a natural wax finish. The spoon is held onto the stand with a rare earth magnet. Approx 210mmmm x 60mm x 120mm
 
Gay Field is a master woodcarver and sculptor who lives in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast.  Gary uses Australian and exotic fine timbers in his work. He carves beautiful organic shapes inspired by nature and these are incorporated into birds, spoons, bowls and sculptures.
