Classic Queenslander - Architectural Model Kits
With its pyramid style roof and stepped down verandah the Queenslanders appearance is distinctive and almost iconic. It was ideally suited to the local conditions with french doors opening out on to a verandah that wraps around all four sides of the building. Walls are vertical VJ boards with a horizontal chair rail. Windows are all double hung sashes. A kitchen was often accommodated in the rear corner of the verandah.
